Machinist $20-$27-hour Temp-to-Perm Franklin, MA

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Friday 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Summary Description:

• Designs, constructs, and upkeeps tools tailored for specific tasks.
• Utilizes manual and CNC machines to fabricate necessary tools.
• Operates milling, lathe, wire-EDM, and grinding machines.
• Transports tools between machines, weighing 50-70 lbs, and changes tools on machines, weighing 10 lbs.
• Conducts routine maintenance on machinery.
• Adheres to OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Ensures compliance with ISO standards.

Requirements:

• High school graduate.
• Collaborates effectively with employees of all levels to fabricate necessary tools.
• Interfaces efficiently with external personnel such as vendors and service technicians.
• Possesses 4 years of experience in tool making.
• Proficient in computer usage.
• Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints.
