The Loan Processing and Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for loan document preparation and/or loan document quality review for assigned deals in support of CFC lending and Member Services Group (MSG).

  • Responsible for recording receipt of loan documents and tracking documents through loan processing lifecycle. Ensure processing completes in accordance with established timelines.
  • Responsible for creating cover letters to members.
  • Responsible for ensuring all copies of necessary loan documents for member mailing are assembled, obtain necessary loan document signatures from authorized staff, create mailing labels, and assemble package for mailing.
  • Scan and import documents into document retention application.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) review of loan documents in accordance with checklist. Ensure loan documents are complete, data in loan documents matches to credit recommendation document, and data in loan documents matches to lending system application.
  • Document found QA exceptions and work with appropriate departments (Legal, MSG) to resolve issue. Confirm correction in place before documents are released to member.
  • Notify process stakeholders of completion of deals to facilitate timely funding to members.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of loan underwriting practices and procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and ability to learn new lending applications.
  • Excellent organization/time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment under tight daily deadlines with minimum supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High School diploma required
  • Minimum of 3 years professional work experience preferably in mortgage or finance.
