Job Description

The Legal Compliance Specialist will work under the direction of Corporate Counsel (Privacy & Compliance) and performs multiple functions to support the Enterprise Compliance Program, including the privacy program, records management program, and other compliance areas. This person will support activities to expand the AMN culture of ethics and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:
Privacy:

• Manage the Company's personal information data inventory and mapping, including documentation of new and revalidation of existing personal information processing activities, using privacy management technology (OneTrust)
• Gather, track, and document information from internal business partners to support privacy requirements and assessments
• Supervise and record execution of vendor contract addendum for compliance with the Company's privacy compliance requirements
• Monitor, document, and track updates to the Company's privacy notices
• Process privacy rights requests using (OneTrust)
• Support development and maintenance of privacy intranet site, internal resources and FAQs, and support privacy education and awareness efforts
• Prepare presentations, reports, and record privacy compliance metrics
• Partner directly with business units, information & technology department, product owners, and website/marketing teams to support above privacy compliance activities

Records Management:

• Support AMN's Records Management program administration, including monitoring, tracking, and documenting records retention activities
• Manage off-site record storage compliance activities

Other Enterprise Compliance:

• Assists in implementing programming and communications to promote the Company's culture of privacy, compliance and ethics; maintains privacy intranet site; prioritizes and coordinates meetings and related activities and deadlines; and reports on privacy-related metrics.
• Support the Company's various enterprise privacy initiatives and programs, including individual rights management, CPRA, and vendor / third party compliance.
• Manage the Company's corporate privacy compliance training curriculum within the Learning Management System, including content development and management, escalations and reporting metrics
• Manage and carry out special projects.

Required Education / Certifications

• Bachelors' Degree

Preferred Education/Certifications:

• Privacy and/or Compliance-related Certifications a plus

Minimum Experience:

• 2-3 years of privacy, compliance, or legal experience

Required Experience

• Strong technical skills including ability to learn and use specialty database software
• Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Completion of all tasks with a high degree of accuracy and in a manner to meet expectations and compliance requirements

Pay Rate
$29.50 - $34.75 Hourly
Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
