LeadPerson IV - 1st Shift

Shipping

Position Summary

Supervise daily activities concerned with the on-time delivery of quality products by performing the following duties

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Moves units from staging area to shipping area
• Returns empty carts to area for reuse
• Assist in loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments
• Assist in combining carts to better utilize warehouse space and cart availability for production departments
• Complete any other related duties required and/or assigned by supervisor or manager
• Transfer units from location to location using ADC system and RF scanners
• Builds and closes loads using the WTS system
• Serves as back-up for the supervisor when they are not on site
• Assists in the training of new associates
• Performs additional tasks assigned by the shipping manager or supervisors as needed
• Keeps assigned work area clean at all times

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)
• Must have at least two years of manufacturing experience preferably in a fabrication or productionenvironment with at least 6 months in a leadership role
• Good Computer Skills
• Ability to recognize similarities and difference between units
• Basic math skills
• Ability to carry out detail written or oral instructions
• Be vigilant about safety
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
