Job Description Summary

The Lead Welder will be responsible for overseeing the welding crew, welding parts according to specifications, as well as inspecting completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reading blueprints, sketches, diagrams, or other drawings to determine work requirements
  • Direct processes for team and ensure they remain on task
  • Inspecting welds for quality and defects, using appropriate tooling
  • Reading and interpreting blue prints to determine proper setup and procedures
  • Operating welding equipment to weld aluminum, steel and stainless steel
  • Following safety guidelines and procedures

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent manual dexterity
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Ability to perform basic math skills accurately
  • Ability to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Bilingual a plus
