About the Role

Uber Freight desires to attract a high energy, experienced sales professional to join our growing team that has a well-established process for closing a mix of capacity solutions in a named account environment, along with delivering continued year over year growth.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Identify, manage, and close capacity/intermodal services opportunities within a named account portfolio of small to medium manufacturers, retailers, and distributors.
  • Develop and build customer relationships at all decision-making levels resulting in capacity/intermodal services business
  • Grow share of wallet through cross selling and collaborating with internal business units.
  • Assess business opportunities and customer requirements to solve challenges through a sales solution approach for truckload, intermodal, LTL, dedicated, collaborative and related services across North America (US/Canada/Mexico)
  • Cultivate, grow, and close new business through a thoughtful and organized sales process to qualify sales opportunities
  • Leverage internal resources across departments, operational, pricing, as well as service offerings IT, analytics, engineering, and on-boarding resources to successfully provide logistical solutions that solve a customer’s need
  • Apply multi-tier approach to sales activities including calls, on-site meetings, prospecting, qualifying, virtual meetings, etc.
  • Prepare and present the value proposition for Uber Freight which aligns to the account’s transportation and broader supply chain/operational priorities
  • Provide weekly reports on customer interactions, lead generation and customer developments, following prescribed Uber Freight sales methodologies and processes
  • Maintain complete, timely and accurate representations of all opportunities within Uber Freight’s single system of record - Salesforce.com
Travel
  • 30% or as needed to close and achieve year over year sales net revenue targets
Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years related experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree
  • 5-9 years’ experience in outside selling of various transportation modes

For New York-based roles: The salary range for this role is $122,925 per year - $184,525 per year

For California-based roles: The salary range for this role is $122,925 per year - $201,300 per year

For Colorado-based roles: The salary range for this role is $100,575 per year - $167,750 per year

For Washington-based roles: The salary range for this role is$122,925 per year - $184,525 per year.
