Lead IT Network Engineer - MSP Enterprise Support

Innova Solutions is seeking a Lead Network Engineer for MSP Enterprise Support in a client facing role. The ideal candidate will be a senior level engineer who has worked in large enterprise environments that host multiple client environments. In addition to technical skills this person must be a go-getter who takes initiative, and brings up the experience on the whole team.

• This is a remote opening that will operate out of the CST/EST time zones
• Selected candidates will have large enterprise industry experience, preferably senior level engineers who have worked in large enterprise environments who host multiple client environments
• This is slated to be a 6 month contract to hire
• Candidates must be able to work w2, no C2C candidates will be considered

• Ability to follow through with tasks, projects, troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
• Serve as technical point of contact on customer engagements, and internal projects.
• Proactively develop plans and activities to avoid problems.
• Assist in creating and documenting policies and procedures.
• Test, evaluate, and develop new products, offerings, and solutions.
• Work directly with Project Managers to update project plans and communicate project status.
• Participate in Change Management process
• Ability to manage technical vendor relationships

Skills and Competencies:

• Demonstrated complex problem solving, inductive reasoning, critical thinking, and problem
  sensitivity at work and in personal circumstances.
• Strong work ethic demonstrated by a successful work track record.
• Ability to effectively communicate with C-Level and other levels of leadership and partners.
• ServiceNow and/or other ITSM solutions
• CCIE or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hardware:
  • Switches, Routers, Firewalls - Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, FortiGate
  • Load Balancers - Cisco ACE, CSS, F5 LTM and F5 GSM

• Network Technologies/Topologies (MSP environment is always changing, may consist of some or all of the below):
  • WAN - MPLS, MPLS Layer 2/3 VPN's, Frame-Relay, GRE/IPSEC VPN, VPN, SIP/PSTN services.
  • Layer 2 networking - 802.1(D,W,S) , Ethernet, PPoE, Ether-Channel
  • Layer 3 networking - IPv4, IPv6, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP (v2), BGP, MP-BGP, PFR, OSPFv3, EIGRPv6, RIPng, Advanced Redistribution, VRF-lite
  • Multicast Networking - Multicast (Sparse + Dense), MSDP, Anycast, Auto-RP, BSR, PIM, SSM
  • Security - CBAC, Zone-Based firewall, Reflex ACL, NAT, IP Source Guard, uRPF, Cisco IPS/IPS, RSA Envision
  • Wireless - Cisco Wireless LAN controllers, lightweight and autonomous AP models, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, MSE, Aruba, and Meraki
• VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix experience
• Understands MSP of prioritization of efforts
• Healthcare industry experience nice to have
  

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
