SUMMARY

Direct activities and responsibilities, during the shift, including inbound/outbound flights preparation of documentation for cargo delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following, but limited to:

  • Meets all related tier requirements for Imports Traffic Agent
  • Support and report to the Import Supervisor the necessities for scheduling.
  • Oversees the clerical staff in expediting import correspondence, airway bills, manifests, and customs documents.
  • Make requests Manpower versus workload for assigned shift.
  • Arranges workload and distributes workload to subordinates.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact with knowledge while engaging CBP & regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to ensure transfer shipments to interline carriers, road feeder, and connecting flights are met.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage a full shift in the absence of the supervisor or manager.
  • Display the ability to responsibly make department decisions in the absence of a supervisor or manager.
  • Process airway bills and provide warehouse loading instructions for ATC Pharma shipments.
  • Facilitate the interline booking of ATC Pharma shipments.
  • Ensure ACMS update for ATC Pharma Movement.
  • Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or CERTIFICATION:
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Basic computer knowledge


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience and/or training required
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service background in place of direct of the required experience may be considered
  • Valid driver license and clean driver records required


SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:
  • Must have good attention to detail, this includes continuously monitoring shipments from the point of receipt to delivery
  • Must be familiar with computer programs, i.e.; Microsoft Office, AES, although some training will be offered
  • Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional etiquette in person, over the phone, and in written communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to effectively work in a team environment
  • Organizational skills
  • Problem-solving skills


PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

Job duties include but are not limited to lifting, pulling, pushing, grasping, twisting (including wrists), reaching below and overhead, standing for long periods, squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and lifting heavy items. Warehouse climate conditions are subject to change without notice.

Mental, visual, and auditory acuity necessaryto work with or near moving mechanical parts (i.e., cooler, dock equipment), in high, precarious places (i.e., ladder work), and cold/hot climate conditions. Ability to work in moderate and loud noise environments including, but not limited to: computers, human voices, sound systems, and machinery.
