General Summary:
The Lead Mental Health Technician provides direct patient care and supportive services to patients with behavioral health disorders to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and carries out a variety of patient care activities which support the maintenance of the therapeutic milieu and which meet the patient's needs for comfort and safety.
The Lead Mental Health Technician assists with the training and orientation of ED Technicians and Patient Safety Attendants under the direction of Registered Nurse. This includes orientation, competency and skills training and assessment. The Lead Mental Health Technician assists with quality improvement activities, safety, and risk reduction initiatives.
Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.
