Position Summary
The Laborer will help assist with day-to-day operations which include but are not limited to maintaining a clean yard and work environment. Will help maintain roadways and work areas. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Hours: 2ndShift starts around 3:00 pm/3:30 pm. This shift is eligible for a pay differential.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks under direct supervision. Common tasks are shovel work,sweeping, lifting, cleaning, and acting as a spotter.
- Uses a variety of tools and equipment to support production operations such as skid steer shovels or other equipmentto remove excess material from beneath the plant.
- Assists Plant Operators, Equipment Operators, and Maintenance Crew with daily duties/projects as requested.
- Keep plant cleanto eliminate possible hazards
- Follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Must be safety conscious, dependable, motivated, and possess a positive attitude in working with others as a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Previous construction or industry experience is a bonus but not required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
