RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Programmer Analyst in Juno Beach, FL.Duties Include:- IT Programmer Analyst will assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software's business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments
- Collaborate with analysts and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications
- Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation
- Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications; According to specifications and development standards per specific discipline; Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of company applications as necessary
- Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, database administrators, external vendor support, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems
- Within their domain, the IT Programmer Analyst will recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and flexibility
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of technologies within their domain and a strong awareness of company strategic business plans
- Makes decisions based on facts, through a data driven approach
- Must serve as a mentor, coach, or leader to others
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and seven (7+) or more years of experience required
- Candidate for this position needs to be highly skilled with extensive proficiency in field of work
- Experienced programmer analyst with minimum 2 years of experience in architecting and developing desktop application solutions with rich graphical UI, highly efficient middle tier service layer, proven data modeling/development using relational databases and interfacing or integrating applications to corporate ERP/Document management/Safety systems
- The candidate must have hands-on development experience in Angular 12 and up, .NET technologies (including C# .NET, VB .NET, and ASP .NET), core JavaScript libraries, AJAX, HTML 5.0, CSS 3.0, WCF, JSON, SQL server 2008 or up, Entity Framework and publishing and consuming web services
- Candidate must have strong understanding and hands-on usage of Gitflow Workflow, CI/CD, Jira, confluence and agile methodology
- Knowledge of relational databases and operating systems
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
- Knowledge of Power Generation business processes
- Understanding of all phases of the IT development process and methodologies
- Understanding of coding methods and best practices
- Understand how technology can enable business opportunities
- Communications - writing, speaking and presentations
- Ability to effectively prioritize & execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Keen attention to detail and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- AWS core services, CI/CD using GitHub Actions/Jenkins
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
