RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a large pharmaceutical company in Tarrytown, NY is seeking an IT Product Owner to join their team on a long-term contract basis!Summary:As an IT Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of medium-scale projects that span over several months. In this role, you will adhere to our established project standards and processes, ensuring a well-structured and controlled implementation approach. Your contributions will be key in maintaining governance and control over the project execution, thereby ensuring the successful growth of our services.REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in delivering commercial IT projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT project management
- Have excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
