Under supervision and direction of the Open Systems supervisors, this position will be responsible for a variety of IT functions related to Active Directory, SCCM, Exchange, Web Applications and potentially cloud and video environments. This is an introductory position that will give you the opportunity to expand your IT knowledge.

Examples of Work
• Candidate will provide technical support at an analyst level for our Open Systems environments on premise and possibly in the cloud. Working with customers to solve their issues will be the highest priority. Initial ticket analysis and contact with the customer will be most of the positions time. Within the process the teams will help you grow your IT knowledge and help you get to the next level. Other duties as assigned within the scope of the classification.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Associate degree in computer science and two years of related technical and business experience. Two years of related technical and business experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. OR Post high school coursework in computer science and three years of related technical and business experience.

PREFERRED: Associate degree in computer science AND three years of related technical and business experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Extensive knowledge of information technology theory, principles, and practices. Knowledge of computer hardware and software. General knowledge of local and wide area network systems. Knowledge of client/server network protocols and Internet/Intranet applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory. Skill in delivering responsive, quality customer service. Ability to write clear and concise documentation of systems and procedures. Ability to read, understand, and apply information from technical manuals. Ability to plan, organize, and meet schedules and timelines for assigned work
