The Investments Intern will focus on corporate bond and municipal credit research and other related activities required to support a disciplined investment selection and review process for Globe Life Inc. (NYSE: GL) and its affiliates. The Investments Intern will research and present on a specific sector(s) and some (all) of its relevant constituents for management's review. This internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in asset management, security analysis, capital markets, and valuation. We are currently hiring for fall 2022 positions. Placement will depend on a candidate's current coursework, track to graduation, and experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze credit risk through research on corporate and municipal debt issuers
- Report ongoing company-specific and industry-wide developments and trends (verbal/written)
- Perform a variety of analyses (including but not limited to) reinvestment break-even, scenario/sensitivity, etc.
- Present industry/sector outlooks and provide investment recommendations
