Inventory Specialist Route Settlement:

Prairie Farms East Side Jersey Dairy, LLC office O'Fallon, IL is looking for a Route Settlement Inventory Specialist professional. The Route Settlement person performs various duties associated with order entry through delivery and payment. The work schedule is Monday - Friday 3:30 am - 12:30 pm with 30 minutes or less on alternating Sunday mornings.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for order entry via the AS400 system
  • Responsible for receipt and validation of orders received via EDI
  • Maintains customer maintenance files
  • Works with managers and plant employees to verify inventory levels necessary for fulfillment of the daily orders
  • Prints daily load out and invoice paperwork
  • Prepares recap reports to be sent to customers
  • Processes accounts receivable payments and transfers
  • Researches vendors accounts payable invoices
  • Researches outstanding accounts receivable invoices and discrepancies
  • Cross-trains designated back-up to Accounting Clerk
  • Documents workflow and work procedures
  • Administration functions include filing, running reports, effective record keeping and communication.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Prior knowledge of the AS400 System preferred but not mandatory
  • 10 Key-By-Touch
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Detail oriented, strong analytical skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Experience working in a multi-task work environment required.
