Who you are:

  • A highly motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced environment and will have a positive influence on the Inventory Readiness department.
  • Someone with great customer service skills, able to serve as the primary point of contact for our suppliers for questions related to shipment and receipt of goods
  • An effective communicator who can collaborate with PDC warehouse staff, dealer satisfaction, commodity managers, and other inventory analysts.
  • A detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage the supply base and identify where improvements can be made
What you will do:
  • Supplier Management
    • React to backorders for stocked parts daily, by releasing additional orders if needed
    • Negotiate with suppliers to adjust ship dates as required
    • Fill emergency and high priority backorders as quickly as possible
  • Daily Stock Replenishment
    • Ensure delivery of material to maintain service fill is at or above the minimum annual targets set by the company
    • Maintain inventory levels as low as possible
    • Review forecasts and place orders, resolve requisition edit errors, and follow up on supplier acknowledgements
    • Expedite and move out orders
  • Resolution and Follow-Ups
    • Resolve invoicing and receiving discrepancies to prevent supplier shipment stoppages, delays, receipt of incorrect materials, or loss of material
    • Follow up on past due orders, short shipments, and revised order acknowledgements
    • Make appropriate decisions on how to resolve issues and negotiate resolutions with suppliers
    • Update the ERP system to ensure that accurate availability dates are communicated to customers
What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain
  • In lieu of degree, 4-6 years of supply chain or related industry experience
  • Knowledge of service parts planning forecasting models and processes: APICS certification, formal education, or on the job experience.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
  • Knowledge of HYG systems (planning software, ERP systems, engineering records, warehouse management systems)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office application
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
