Summary: Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping Coordinator-International will package and prepare all clerical aspects for international regulated and non-regulated customer orders according to established procedures and applicable regulations.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Reviews letters of credit and ensuring that the outlines requirements are agreeable. Make sure all shipping documents comply with Letters of Credit and ship within required date.
  • Ensure filing to be done correctly and records maintained accurately, and file export declaration via AES.
  • Ensure material collected corresponds with picking list, weigh material, check item number, lot number, quantity, and special packaging and be able to work with freight forwards and shipping companies to track shipments.
  • Prepare shipment following established procedures. Determine appropriate packaging according to carrier specifications and regulations and calculate value of shipment for customs and insurance purposes and verify customer specifications have been met. Calculates duties or tariffs to be paid on materials.
  • Utilize SAP for creation of labels, packing slips, order value, and tracking. Perform double check of package labels created in other areas, and determine and prepare appropriate shipping and customs documentation and enter information into UPS/FED EX Software or any other required software programs. Ensure all required information for efficient export is completed and accurate.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and/or GED.
  • Experience with Shipper Export Declaration and AES preferred.
  • Understanding of ITAR and government regulations preferred.
  • SAP Experience preferred.
