Responsibilities

Rentokil North America is looking for an Interim Vice President of Marketing. This position is a seasonal, 3-6 month assignment with possibility of extension.

What does our Interim Vice President of Marketing do?

Reporting to the SVP of Sales and Marketing of Rentokil North America, this position will lead a team across all components of the marketing lifecycle, including digital marketing strategy, brand management, client relationship management, media services, lead generation, and creative. Using a dynamic blend of internal team resources and external agency / strategic vendor partners, the Interim VP of Marketing will support the organic revenue growth targets across all lines of business and all geographies within the North America portfolio.

The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of leadership acumen, digital marketing expertise, and proven track record of turning transformational thinking into reality through strong execution and achievement on plan.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness
  • Set current and long-term goals for internal teams
  • Design and review the Marketing department's budget
  • Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
  • Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary
  • Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO
  • Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
  • Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company's objectives
  • Track competitors' activities

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area, BA or BS; Master's degree a plus.
  • 7-10 years' relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a Director or VP role.
  • Strong presentation skills are required.
  • Deep knowledge of lead creation, development, nurturing, and management.
  • Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a heightened sense of attention to detail are key characteristics of the perfect candidate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow for healthy internal and external relationships are a must.
  • Additionally, strong computer skills whereby the candidate is fluent in salesforce.com, marketing automation (like Pardot or Hubspot) is required. Additional experience with the Google Platform is a plus.
  • Experience with aspects of B2B sales processes, including sales training, customer relationship management (CRM), product demonstrations, and analytics.
  • Extensive experience in CRM principles, practices, and applications.
  • Extensive experience in marketing automation and related best practices.
  • Knowledge of digital tools to communicate with, foster collaboration, and share best practices with marketing and sales professionals a plus.
  • Extensive experience in educating business audiences on the value and use of new tools.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product management.
  • The ability to lead and manage a staff along with multiple projects simultaneously is required.
  • Pest Industry experience preferred.
  • Successfully meet pre-employment background screen
