We are actively hiring for an Insurance Analyst-Actuarial. Join us and support CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, in achieving our goals! We are looking for motivated, innovative individuals, who think big and move fast with a passion for service excellence.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Ability to understand and deliver insights by monitoring internal claims loss data and incorporating Industry trends.

  • Develop models to predict claim frequency and severity using internal and external data.

  • Support accountability and ownership in the claims process by providing an accurate and unbiased picture of claims operations.

  • Perform deep-dive analysis to understand the root cause of the issue and effectively communicate the findings to senior management.

  • Own the discipline of work (Auto/Homeowner) with foresights and influence on the business.

  • Leverage Industry data and knowledge to evaluate the results in relation with Industry.

  • Work with our internal stakeholders in Claims, Product, Actuarial, Finance and Technology on identify new trends and initiatives.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.

What would make us excited about you?

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficient in SAS/R/Python/SQL (or equivalent) and Excel.

  • Expert-level analytical and problem solving skills, including a strong attention to detail.

  • Solid communication and presentation skills (written, verbal, and listening).

  • Aptitude and passion for learning new things, with an interest in technology.

  • Direct claims experience or actuarial experience (preferred)

  • Possesses pattern-recognition, data analysis skills and logic-based thinking (preferred)

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be, performed in Colorado. If performed in Colorado, this position has a salary range of $90,000 - $105,000 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 8% of eligible pay.
