SUMMARY

The function of the Inside Sales Representative is to provide direct support to the Sales Executives, Director of Sales, and on occasion, the COO with Business Development matters. Assist in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that the department is able to meet its growth targets. It also includes some management of special accounts and own accounts. Manages business reports by customer, territory/sales activity, tariff/contract/promotional pricing, and yield variances. Responsible for the development and maintenance of Access and/or Excel sales/pricing reports linked to the company's data warehouse. Assist with Overseas Agents communications, implementation of new business. Great opportunity for promotion into outside Sales, Customer service, or operations. Supports the goals of the business development department by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for variable sales/pricing report availability and data accuracy.
  • Serve as internal sales support for Sales team.
  • Develops and maintains a report inventory file for reports used by executives and sales personnel.
  • Provides various other data analyses as required by managers, directors, and executives of all Amerijet companies.
  • Takes initiative in identifying and resolving issues related to pricing, customer data and policies in conjunction with the I.T. and Marketing department.
  • Maintains customer contact rate request file/database.
  • Provides active support to the Sales and Accounts Receivable departments to resolve billing issues.
  • Prioritizes workload and generates weekly highlight report.
  • Performs all other administrative and clerical support functions, as necessary.
  • Generates/distributes sales data/leads throughout the entire network.
  • Provide quality service to internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding ITN Worldwide Values at all times.
  • Conveys positive, competitive, confident personality.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, and the ability to persuade, influence and negotiate.
  • Develops and uses collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals; develops individual relationships by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating others\u0027 efforts.
  • Excellent Microsoft Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Etc.) skills.
  • Uses appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team and facilitate the completion of team goals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. and/or international currency, weight, volume and distance measurements.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Great customer service skills in dealing with overseas agents and clients via phone and email.
  • Languages: Spanish required, Portuguese or French a plus.
  • Other duties may be assigned


QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EDUCATION:
  • Associates Degree or min. of four years' experience and/or training in business administration or marketing preferred
  • Strong internet and PC skills-Microsoft Office, including Access a must; database management, proficient in Adobe Creative Suite CS.
  • Work independently with follow-through and professionalism.
  • Able to prioritize, initiate, route and self-manage projects.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent Skills in Microsoft Products.
  • Spanish required, Portuguese or French a plus.
  • Great customer service skills in dealing with overseas agents and clients by phone and email.
  • Ability to multitask with excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service orientation and desire to work with internal and external groups such as customers, sales, customer service and accounting.
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
