Primary Function of Position:

Role and Responsibility

  • Define and own the end-to-end success of Engineering operational processes (Patching, Onboarding/Offboarding, Backup/Recovery and Incident response contribution etc.)
  • Hands on contribution to technical execution and processes are required
  • Partner with key Engineering leaders and other partner teams to identify new processes, and define clear goals and success criteria
  • Align and drive team members across the organization to translate these goals into reality
  • Lead and develop Infrastructure Operation team to support concurrent projects and product development
  • Develop continuous improvement practices, schedule of sustaining activities, execution of sustaining and improvement timelines, and overall orchestration of the Network Operations function

Skills and Requirement:

  • Minimum BA/BS degree in technical, or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 5+ years project/program management experience
  • 3+ years people management experience
  • Strong technical abilities - able to work closely with software engineers
  • Excellent project manager with the ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives at the same time
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - can explain complicated topics and ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Detail oriented, versatile, innovative, self-motivated team player with a positive can do attitude
  • Experience working with offshore and remote teams

Candidate should have extensive knowledge in the following areas:

  • Data Center network design and engineering, power management, capacity planning
  • Server virtualization – VMWare
  • Deep understanding of System Administration with Windows, Linux (Redhat, Ubuntu)
  • Software Deployment and Operations Automation - Ansible
  • Server Configuration automation (Scripting with PowerShell/Python/Bash) Ansible, Puppet
  • Server Storage Netapp, Nimble, Cloud Storage S3, EFS, EBS
  • Software Defined Networking (SDN) - Design and Traffic Engineering
  • Solid Understanding of the OSI model, routing and switching protocols, network security, IPv4 and IPv6 networking, subnetting, and operational experience
  • PKI Cert management
  • Experience with AWS, Azure and GCP is preferred
