Rosen's Diversified, Inc. has an opportunity for an Infrastructure Dev/Ops Engineer to join our rapidly growing Information Technology team in Green Bay, WI. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Professional Communication and Collaboration

  • Presents solutions to leadership in a clear, professional manner to aid informed decision making.
  • Fosters communication between Infrastructure and other IT teams.
  • Provides technical support and guidance to users.
  • May be responsible for leading and directing infrastructure related projects and project teams.
  • Develop, review, and follow project testing plans and implementation timelines.
  • Creates and reviews documentation as needed for any new or changed project or technology.
Systems Design and Solutioning
  • Strong technical aptitude, creativity, and ability to research and solve complex issues.
  • Research emerging technologies to assess fit for business needs.
  • Leverages proof-of-concept engineering initiatives for system additions or changes.
  • Translate business requirements into written designs in line with RDI and industry standards.
  • Compare technical designs against RDI standards, industry best practices, etc. for conformance.
  • Assess vendor development/test strategies.
System Reliability Engineering (SRE)
  • Subject matter expert (SME) on one or more technologies supported by infrastructure.
  • Tunes, patches, and monitors systems adequately to pass resilience and security muster.
  • Follows established standards put forth for change control by Change Advisory Board (CAB)
  • Leads efforts to troubleshoot network and server performance issues.
  • Participates in DR / Business Continuity configuration, planning and testing.
Security-Minded Engineering
  • Follows security architecture standards, frameworks, and guidelines.
  • Emphasizes security best practices and ensures adoption across corporate solutions.
  • Reviews and participates in business continuity and disaster recovery strategy development.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Azure Cloud Services - including, but not limited to:
    • Virtual machines, VNETs, NSGs, route tables, load balancers
    • Network virtual appliances
    • Azure Automation, Log Analytics, Storage Accounts, Logic Apps
    • Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI
    • Azure SQL, Azure SQL Managed Instances
    • Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Experience with cloud service automation and configuration management.
    • PowerShell, C#
    • Azure DevOps for CI/CD
    • Infrastructure-as-code - Terraform, Ansible, ARM
  • Windows client/server operating systems and AD/AAD domains.
  • AAD Enterprise Apps, Conditional Access, SSPR, Graph APIs
  • Managing hosting solutions: Co-Lo, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS - Azure, AWS
  • Assorted application architectures - containers, web, database, WAFs, proxies, etc.
  • Security solutions: MFA, PAM, SEIM, Pen Testing, Vulnerability Management.
Experience with the following preferred:
  • Virtualization, HCI, SAN, server hardware: VMware, Nutanix, Azure Stack, Pure
  • Backup and DR solutions: Azure Recovery Services, Zerto, Veeam B&R
  • Routers, switches, WLCs, firewalls, load balancers.
  • Infrastructure monitoring tools. Examples: SolarWinds, DataDog, LogicMonitor
  • Audit experience is desired. Examples: GDPR, DPA 2018, SOC1, ISO, PCI.
  • Vendor management is desired.
  • Cloud cost optimization is desired.
  • Experience working with APIs and building enterprise service integrations.
Education, Training, and Licenses:
  • Certification(s) in area of specialty is preferred.
  • Associate degree in Computer Science or in an equivalent area of specialty is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in equivalent area of specialty is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6+ years' experience in the field or related area.
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience as an Infrastructure Engineer for cloud services.
  • Managing small to medium projects is preferred.
