Job Summary
As an I&E Tech, you're part of a multi-skilled workforce that is moving DCP Midstream into the future. Our I&E Techs have access to top safety and training programs that enables them to be the go-to for knowledge on maintenance and repair of other instrumentation and electrical equipment such as valve actuators, positioners, electric motors, etc. Every day is a new challenge, our I&E Techs direct others and lead projects while performing complex troubleshooting and repair tasks.
Qualifications
- 2 years' experience in I&E, including but not limited to:
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of recurring issues failures on instrumentation equipment and associated components
- Routine inspection, calibration and repair of end devices
- High level maintenance and repairs (requiring de-energizing and entry and NFPA 70E certification) of Motor Control Centers and associated equipment
- High level understanding of plant processing with ability to identify enhancement opportunities
- Ability to interpret and update P&ID\'s, electrical drawings, and diagrams
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability work overtime and handle call-outs
- Currently reside, or be willing to reside/relocate to within 35 miles of the listed location (relocation provided for qualified candidates)
- Reliable means of contact for call-out purposes
- Must pass comprehensive background and drug test
Special DemandsThis job operates both inside gas plant conditions as well as outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times. Regularly stoops, squats, kneels and crouches for durations up to 3 minutes. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the gas plant. Occasionally exerts pulling force of 130 pounds. Frequently may lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. May occasionally climb A-frame ladders. Occasional travel will be required
Salary RangeThe hourly rate for this job is between \$28.37 - \$58.17
