Overview

QSC is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resource Partner role to be responsible for partnering with QSC leadership providing a wide range of collaboration applying knowledge and experience in a variety of facets within Human Resources in partnership with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Compensation to drive strategic HR initiatives. This position will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources. This management level role serves as a key member of the HR management team. This position advises and provides guidance to senior leaders and management on employee matters offering support to all levels of employees regarding performance management, talent capabilities, DE&I, total rewards management inclusive of benefits and compensation, engagement and recognition, employee relations, employee leaves, policy interpretation, compliance, staffing models, career progression initiatives, training, HRIS system, and disciplinary processes.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to ongoing efforts in support of a positive employee experience and culture
  • Provides guidance, best practices, and drives efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of human resources
  • Thoroughly and expeditiously investigates and resolves a variety of employee relations situations, including but not limited to answering employee inquiries, investigating complaints/concerns, conflict resolution, employee and/or manager counseling
  • Partners with compensation to develop plans and rewards and recognition programs that are equitable and in line with the organization's goals
  • Facilitates and conducts manager and employee compensation discussions providing education and market data
  • Assists in assessing needs, designing, developing, implementing, delivering, and evaluating training initiatives; ensures training is directly related to business goals; partners with Talent Development to support development and training for assigned functions
  • Works with leadership to manage promotional reviews for both annual and off cycle including recommended increases
  • Ensures the employee voice is heard, facilitating communication programs that provide employees open, candid, and frequent information-sharing with management
  • Manages Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts and initiatives
  • Maintains and manages documentation in compliance with all local, state, and federal recordkeeping requirements
  • Develops and delivers communications that support Company strategy and goals
  • Answers frequently asked questions from management and employees pertaining to the Company's policies, procedures, and programs
  • Participates with planning, management, and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, training initiatives, employee recognition events, holiday events, and celebrations
  • Facilitates flexible and hybrid work requests, processes, and policies
  • Leads special projects and/or is a member of project teams as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor' degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • 8 plus years of progressive HR related experience to include all facets of HR, with supervisory/management expertise
  • Experience partnering with sales, marketing, and operations functions in technology related field is a plus
  • Experience managing organizational transformation and change initiatives
  • Partnership with multi-state and multi-location work population
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated the ability to influence leadership and interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent time management skills required in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and with project management skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent judgment and decision making, with the ability to analyze situations and present appropriate resolution(s)
  • Must be able to foster and support a teamwork environment, placing a high emphasis on excellent customer service
  • Flexibility to alter work schedule to support national/global team calls and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State labor laws and leave requirements
