We are looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Field Supervisor to be a leader in field operations, run occasional Service calls, provide technical and sales training to increase efficiencies and revenue production among our service technicians.

In this role you will assist with planning, training, tracking and field supervision in the safe and efficient servicing of HVAC equipment, components and systems in residential settings. Utilizes human resources effectively to manage workload, achieve production and margin objectives as well as provide HVAC services to customers.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Evaluates work load and schedules service work in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits.

• Ensures that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs. Schedules repairs for parts to ensure minimal down-time in job completion.

• May conduct job sites surveys to ensure that employees are performing as expected and that employees have the proper tools for the job.

• Instructs technicians on proper use of materials and quality workmanship.

• Communicate with technicians to assist with unexpected needs.

• Assists the dispatching operation to ensure appropriate technician selection for type of service.

• Evaluates staff to determine training requirements. Provides on-the-job training and support to employees.

• Tracks, monitors, and trains on productivity of revenue production and labor control for Service Technicians.

• Oversees facility and equipment maintenance, ensuring that assets are protected and controlled.

Run Service Calls to include:

•Assists in locating and diagnosing problems, assessing extent of repairs and describing options and associated costs to the customer. Provides a description of diagnosed problems to customer in terms that can be understood with options, as possible.
•Assists with repairs of complete systems to include repairing, calibrating or replacing controls, switches, thermostats, transformers, gauges, wiring fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, piping and other functional components of the system.

• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent equipment failure by cleaning air handling systems and reheat coils, monitoring and calibrating air handling systems and replacing filters, motors, fans, belts, etc. on systems. Repairs, replaces and adjusts vents and duct work. May clean air ducts to maximize efficiency and improve indoor air quality.

Qualifications

Requirements:

-3-6 + years' experience in residential HVAC services.

- 2+ years' experience in Field Supervision in Residential Service Department.

-A high school diploma or GED.
-EPA Certificate.
-Valid driver's license and good communications skills.
-Requires the ability to raise, manipulate and maneuver tools, components and materials and handle a variety of items, equipment, control knobs, switches, etc.
-Must be able to lift or carry heavy objects of up to 50 pounds to include ductwork, furnaces or materials.
