Job Title: -- HVAC Chiller Service Technician

EMCOR Services Scalise Industries located in PA is looking for highly skilled HVAC Service Chiller Technician for Western PA and Northern WV areas.

Position Overview:

Service Background Mechanical Journeyman must be skilled craftsman in their trade and have a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the Commercial, Industrial or HVAC Chiller mechanical equipment service industry including maintenance, repair, modification and troubleshooting of primary centrifugal, screw, reciprocating and scroll, air cooler and/or water-cooled chillers. A self-motivated/self-starter that has the ability and confidence to work alone as well as a member of a team. Interaction with customers with consistent feedback, attention to detail in executing quoted jobs, ability to help quote jobs, scheduling hours, promoting/following EMCOR's safety policies and constant communication plays a key role in this position. Must be computer literate with a strong ability to develop, close and manage quoted, PM and T & M work.

Qualifications:

• Experience on water cooled centrifugal chillers and absorbers (Trane, Carrier, Daikin and York) is a plus.
• Ability to maintain various equipment such as cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, refrigeration equipment, boilers, unitary HVAC equipment.
• Familiar with and able to trouble shoot large VFD Drives.
• Experience with air cooled reciprocating and screw chillers is a plus.
• Ability to trouble shoot HVAC controls and be familiar with BAS Systems.
• Ability to work safely and follow company safety guidelines.
• Ability to complete assigned paperwork accurately.
• Must have good customer communications skills.
• Must possess the ability to offer technical support and training to junior technicians.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 50 pounds.
• Travel to customer sites will be required using a company provided vehicle.

• Pay and fringes will follow local union wage scale with over scale potential depending on experience.
• Company truck, cell phone, I-pad, uniforms and tools will be provided for EMCOR Scalise business only.
