The Human Resources Intern will support various areas of the human resources department with tasks related to talent acquisition, organizational development, payroll and benefit maintenance, and general human resources activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Involved in various human resources related projects and programs to help achieve department goals and objectives.
- Assist with researching and analyzing information and completing tasks for various assigned projects and/or programs.
- Maintain and update physical and electronic personnel files in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in meetings, events, and activities as delegated.
- Enter information into various human resources systems, such as the human resources information system (HRIS), learning management system (LMS), applicant tracking system (ATS), etc.
- Assist with drafting and composing diverse communications.
- Provide assistance to other members of the human resources department as necessary.
- All other duties and projects as assigned.
- Current studies in Human Resources or Health, Environment, or Safety.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Good collaboration skills.
