Job Information

Doosan Bobcat is seeking an HR Generalist to play a key role in supporting our employees and HR team. In this role, you will implement HR strategies and provide a broad range of HR Generalist functions to support our company's goals and objectives. You will also provide consultation on content and process to individual managers or client groups in areas including but not limited to: employee relations, policies and procedures, HRIS data management, benefits, compensation, talent management, performance management, employee development, staffing and organizational change.

Location: Preferably located in Gwinner, ND to help drive site initiatives and maintain business partner relations. Open to West Fargo, ND or Wahpeton, ND offices with the understanding a few days a week will need to be spent onsite at the Gwinner, ND location.

Role & Responsibility

Employee Relations

• Recommend, develop and implement employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationship and support the overall effectiveness of the organization.
• Provide guidance and counsel to employees relative to policy administration and interpretation.
• Conduct investigations as needed.
• Conduct various HR related training classes.

Talent Management

• Guide employees on training Talent Management and Development process & system.
• Assist managers with succession planning and development discussions.
• Employee training opportunities and continuing education.

Salary/Benefit Administration

• Consult with managers in all job or salary related issues.
• Prepare reports as needed to meet local and corporate requirements.
• Site contact for all benefit/payroll related questions.

Staffing

• Assist client groups in determining appropriate staffing levels, recruitment resources, and objective selection techniques.
• Administer job posting system.
• Recruit, interview, and participate in the selection process.
• AAP administration.
• Responsible for new hire orientation and onboarding.

Job Requirement

• Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related degree field.
• PHR certification preferred.
• Experience Required: 2>5 years.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing employee relations practices.
• SAP (HR Software) knowledge is helpful.
• High level of customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Travel Required: < 10%. Gwinner, ND location preferred, but open to West Fargo, ND or Wahpeton, ND. Location will dictate amount of travel required.
