Goodwill is seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to provide daily support, maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of our HR Information System. The HRIS Analyst is responsible for collaborating with internal customers and assisting the HRIS Manager in configuration, testing, maintenance, reporting, and day-to-day tactical support for our HR system, Ceridian Dayforce. This position acts as the technical point-of-contact and subject matter expert by ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data for process improvement opportunities.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvides day-to-day HRIS support to Human Resources and the organization in HRIS (Dayforce HCM) including import loads, record maintenance, security and audit reporting.Provides technical assistance to senior-level HR staff and management on several HR programs to include employee relations, compensation, EEO compliance, company policies and procedures, disability programs, Federal and State employment laws, and personnel actions as needed.Writes, maintains and supports a variety of system reports for ongoing customer needs.Performs data entry into and maintains data integrity of the HRIS; processes personnel actions (hires, terminations, pay and title changes, promotions, status, etc.).Serves as technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, querying and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Serves as a systems liaison with other departments and process stakeholders.Assists in the development of user procedures, guidelines and documentation for HR related systems. Trains system users on new processes/functionality.Recommends and implements short and long term HRIS operations initiatives in support of business unit's strategic objectives. Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions and policy changes.Provides data and reports to government and other funding agencies as required on a timely manner.Provides HR tools and resources for management and staff to accomplish their goals and objectives.Assists with special HR-related projects and provides training to other staff members as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of HRIS system development and administration, systems analysis and research methods, and human resource functions.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office to include advanced knowledge of Word, advanced Excel capabilities (formulas, pivot tables, macros) to include proficiency in spreadsheet analysis; intermediate PowerPoint skills. Strong technical aptitude required.
  • Basic SQL report writing skills preferred.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail, effective communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
  • This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented confidential environment. Strong focus on confidentiality is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience required.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification is preferred.
