HR Specialist II


Job Description:

As an HR Specialist at Arrow Electronics, you will be part of the HR Solution Center supporting a variety of different activities related to regulatory and complex specialist work.

What You'll Be Doing

  • End to end I-9 administration, including overseeing the relationship with the I-9 completion vendor and handling escalated issues
  • End to end severance administration
  • Respond to questions from within HR on regulatory or complex administrative HR procedures and practices
  • Utilize Workday to process specific employee-related transactions
  • Continuously create and define process improvements focusing on standardization related to HR programs, initiatives and inquiries.
  • Responsible for creation of employment contracts for certain populations
  • Key team member on various process-improvement projects
  • Additional duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

  • Requires a 4 year degree and 3+ years of experience or related experience
  • Has advanced specialized skills or is multi-skilled through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
  • Interested in continued career growth and expansion, including possible future people management opportunities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Works independently; receives minimal guidance
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues
  • Identifies and resolves key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data
  • Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new, less obvious solutions
  • Experience with process improvement and the ability to take ownership of processes when applicable
  • Ability to be professional in all situations
  • Experience in a high-volume HR Shared Services team is a major plus

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$54,000.00 - $66,000.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
