HR /Human Resource BP 1 - HRIS, HRMS, Generalist, Hiring We are looking for an up and coming HR Associate/Human Resources Generalist In the Marion, VA area for an Key HR Business Partner role for a local manufacturing firm that has a great HR leadership in place, but is looking for an HR professional with 3-5 years of experience, ideally with manufacturing/industrial Human Resource experience.
This is an HR support role, working in conjunction with Plant HR Leadership, the Plant Manager, and other HR Team members, in support of the day to day employee management and relations issues, items and initiatives.
This role will support all areas of HR for the facility, including
----> HRIS Data input/data processing, including performance reviews, Time off/LOA, Corrective actions, and other reporting tools.
----> Working with ADP Payroll system, including data input, corrections, et.
----> Recruiting, screening, scheduling, hiring, onboarding, training
----> Working with existing employees on benefit, safety, and other questions/information gathering and training needs.
----> Assisting with annual open enrollment, benefits as a whole.
----> The gathering, and presentation of data, reports, spreadsheets, training materials.
----> Coordination with managers on site, off site, customers, vendors, etc.
We are seeking candidates that bring with them:
----> Education - Ideally an applicable Bachelors Degree, Associates degree, but we are open and looking at those with EXPERIENCE and no degree, as well.
----> Experience Level - we are ideally seeking those with 3-5 years of HR support experience, ideally in a Manufacturing/Industrial setting.
----> Looking for those with experience in a manufacturing site, with a background supporting floor level to executive level employees, onsite.
----> Experience with MS OFFICE is a must, including spreadsheet work with some advanced MS Excel functionality experience.
SPECIFIC Experience in Workday would be a huge plus.
----> Strong listening/communication skills, with a commitment to employee confidentiality.
----> An ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment with shifts in priority and focus on a daily or semi-daily basis, from time to time.
