Pharmaron (Germantown) Lab Services LLC., is seeking an experienced and energized HR Generalist to support our growing team in Germantown, MD. The HR Generalist is a key member of the Human Resources team and will administer the day-to-day functions of the HR department while working closely with site leadership to provide counsel across multiple areas of HR.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Provides consultative support and coaching across multiple areas of HR.
• Partners with the business and HR teams on key initiatives (e.g., recruitment, organization
structure and performance, workforce planning, hi-potential employee development, succession
planning, etc.)
• Assists with the forecasting of future hiring needs, aligning hiring strategy to long-term
workforce plans, and analyzing market trends.
• General HR program/policy development, administration, and compliance (e.g. hiring,
orientation, onboarding, engagement, performance management, compensation, benefits, rewards,
terminations, and records management etc.)
• HR program advocacy: Communicating the business value of HR initiatives, managing HR
program roll out and minimizing business disruption.
• Works closely with business leaders and HR teams on employee engagement initiatives, and
addresses employee relations and/or cultural matters.
• Supports employee training and development initiatives/activities.
• HR related training.

Experience, Education and Skills:
• 5+ years of well-rounded HR Generalist experience required.
• A minimum of an associate degree is required. A bachelor's degree in business, human resources
or a related field is preferred.
• Professional HR Certification is a plus.
• Experience supporting a Contract Research Organization (CRO), Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical,
Biotech, Clinical Research, or similar industry highly preferred.
• Excellent oral/written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging practices.
• Ability to manage projects and processes, working independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to navigate problems that are difficult and sometimes complex.
• Relationship development skills with the ability to relate to and empathize with others.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Must have a solid understanding of applicable federal, state and local employment laws
