Our client, a nationwide food manufacturer in St. Charles, is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to add to their team! This position is a great opportunity looking to get their foot in the door with a growing company while being exposed to many areas with Human Resources. The ideal candidate is personable, has a sense of ownership in their work, and willing to work through large projects and implementations. This role is contract to hire for the right candidate. This role is 100% onsite, hours Monday through Friday 8-5pm with the occasional night to stay later.

Responsibilities:
* Working with HR Manager and Specialist within department for all HR initiatives
* Supporting Employee Engagement team and HR initiatives nationwide
* Responsible and assisting with recruitment and coordination of plant positions including posting open positions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, composing and assist with offer letters
* Assisting with onboarding and orientation of new employees.
* Maintain accurate and updated information in system
* Pulling various data from system for HR audits and reports
* Assisting with mandates and other HR specific projects
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
* At least 6 months to a year of work experience within retail or office setting
* Bachelor's degree with a centration in Human Resources
* Good communicator both written and verbal to all levels of management
* Adaptive to change with effective communication of everchanging environment
* Ability to work in a fast-paced role and work with a sense of urgency
* Eager to learn from the ground up within Human Resource department
* Must be Bilingual Spanish
