Details of the role:

Qualifications

• Masters/Bachelor's degree in Information technology, computer science, business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management or IT experience
• Working knowledge of SQL/querying languages, should be able to write complex queries. Having teradata knowledge is plus.
• Should have knowledge on Facets or Amisys payer suites.
• Working knowledge on ETL tools like SSIS.
• Should have healthcare knowledge on claims, encounters and risk adjustment space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with business stake holders and understand the requirements.
• Create user stories and assign them to the development team for the implementation and perform UAT validations.
• Have knowledge on Jira/Confluence for direction and planning
• Provide advanced analytical support for business operations in all or some of the following areas: claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, external reporting
• Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources
• Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management.
• Develop reports and deliverables for management
• Model data using MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data warehouse analytical tools
• Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis.
• Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analyst.
