SUMMARY

From market prices to pricing strategy, determine pricing schemes for MAHLE Aftermarket North America products and services. Price and margin management, including but not exclusive to target sales prices, minimum sales prices, price harmonization and price determination. Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability. Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing actions effectiveness. Continuously monitor, improve and support region for global pricing software. Owner of market intelligence tools for Go-to-Market.Define, review and update terms and conditions to regulate contractual relationships.

From market requirements to strategic market positioning. Analyze and evaluate the existing market customers, problems, competition and derive growth potential for new products and services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General Management

    • General administration, organization, supervisory responsibilities, employee evaluation
    • Enable and support exchange and collaboration among team members and interfacing functions
    • Evaluate, select and develop the right people in the organization. Manage, mentor and maintain competent, motivated employees
  • Processes, Governance and Compliance
    • Define, manage and implement business process within operational area
    • Adhere to organization's policies, compliance regulations and applicable laws (including the MAHLE Commercial Policy)
  • Cross-Functional Activities
    • Align within the region and conduct know-how transfer between regions regarding strategic and operational plans
    • Drive market intelligence activities regarding market price and customer trends
  • Identify and manage channel specific requirements regarding program spectrum, product specification, and market specific requirements of customers, price, specs, brands, range, positioning (good, better, best) and propose program enhancement (phase in, phase out) initiatives to product groups.
  • Support regional activities in sales and marketing to ensure profitability of product portfolio by managing sales prices and commercial policies and related SG&A
  • Analyze monthly pricing reports, target sales prices and advanced price & sales potential to identify improvement areas in relevant sales channels
  • Drive necessary price reviews according to business needs
  • Collect, organize and maintain competitive research and analysis pricing information to establish market pricing and create targets for MAHLE Aftermarket pricing and margin analysis.
  • Properly identify areas of price weaknesses, developing and implementing pricing policies to maximize margins.
  • Develop means and process to gather, manage and analyze sales data and point of sales data for customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business.
  • 5 years of experience in pricing, category management or sales management function in automotive and/or automotive aftermarket
  • Experience with BU6 Aftermarket, products, sales channels, and customers
  • Marketing, Communication and Price Management experience
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors & customers.

  • Ability to professionally write reports, business correspondence, etc.
