As the Head of DraftKings Studio, you will lead the build-out, development and operation of a modern entertainment company inside one of the most influential, emerging brands in culture, in one of the most explosive industries disrupting the sports and entertainment media landscape today.
What you'll do as a Head of DK Studio:

  • Lead content development, brand and design, production, programming, talent, audience building and licensing for digital, premium and branded content.
  • Work with Executive Producers, EIC's and Executives from project conception through, and including, final delivery of all program materials.
  • Work with internal business functions and external production teams on establishing key production schedules and workflows while optimizing budgets
  • Work with Partners to prepare and vet show budgets and schedules, providing feedback internally and externally on viability and risks
  • Help ensure that productions meet deadlines and stay within budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external producers and studio executives.
  • Oversee and communicate with internal/external teams for production scheduling
  • Define and implement key performance indicators and strategic objectives for the division and facilitates measurement of those objectives
  • Attend weekly internal meetings with various internal departments to update on production status.
  • Manage the duties of additional staff within the Production and Operations group.
  • Explain production and technical standards, show formatting, deal memos, contracts, financial reporting, insurance, production and safety policies, and wrap requirements to all third-party production companies and studios
  • Ensure timely delivery of all necessary elements.
  • Review specifications manual for accuracy before distribution to external partners.
What you'll bring:
  • 10+ years preferred of alternative television production management experience either at a network, TV studio, streaming service, or television production company, or as a Freelance Producer.
  • Proven understanding of production workflow with hands-on experience in alternative production.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze budgets, schedules, and full-scale production plans for a variety of program types (i.e. pilots, presentations, series, etc.)
  • Familiarity with financial incentives in various locations for both domestic and international production.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment supervising several projects in various points of production (from development through delivery)
  • Organized and resourceful with excellent project management and accounting skills with a clear track record of meeting budgets and deadlines.
