RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in New York, NY that is seeking a GW Automation QA Lead. This role must work onsite 3 days a week in Morristown, NJ.Summary:The role involves leading a QA team across onsite and offshore locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system, integration, and regression testing, with a focus on Guidewire Policy Center applications.Responsibilities:- Lead a QA team across onsite and offshore locations
- GW Automation QA Lead will design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using QTP/UFT, Selenium for Guidewire and Portal applications
- Execute automated test cases, assess outcomes, and document test results
- Analyze system specifications to extract test requirements and develop comprehensive Test Cases/Scripts
- Partner with QA engineers to formulate and implement an effective automation strategy
- Identify, document, and track bugs and errors, communicating them to the Development teams
- As a GW Automation QA Lead, you will engage with cross-functional teams to promote Quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Act as single point of contact for all testing for the initiative and facilitate testing efforts for releases across multiple applications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QTP/UFT, Selenium Automation testing
- Prior experience leading a team
- Experience in automating interactions with third-party applications, tools, and interfaces, especially those integrated with SAP and web portals
- Specific Quality Assurance experience with Guidewire solutions in the P&C Policy lifecycle is essential
- Familiarity with a variety of automation frameworks, including Hybrid and Keyword-driven approaches
- Proficient in QTP/UFT, Selenium Automation with a proven track record as an expert in the UFT Automation tool
- Proficient in VB Scripting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM) is highly desirable
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
