Matheson is looking for experienced Ramp Agents for our Austin location.

As a Ground Handler, you will operate groundhandling equipment for the loading/unloading of an international cargo aircraft,including cargo and belt loaders, lift trucks, ramp tractors and aircraftloading systems. You will load/unload palletized freight using deck loaders,belly loaders, tugs, and forklifts to transport it between aircraft and airportterminals, air cargo facilities, and other aircraft. You will be expected to readand interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardousmaterial identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage andcargo routing tags. The successful candidate will be able to think on theirfeet and work quickly in a demanding, fast-paced environment while maintaininga professional and effective approach to high-stress situations and communicatingwith team members in a positive, cooperative manner.

Split Shift:
AM: Monday 3:15 AM - 6:15 AM and Tuesday - Friday 7:15 AM - 10:15 AM
PM: Monday - Friday 8:15 PM - 11:15 PM

Compensation: $14.50/hr

 Job Requirements:

• Must pass a drug screen
  
• Must pass a criminal background
  
• Must be at least 18 years or age
• Must have Safety Boots (3/4 ankle high boots)
• Must have Valid Drivers License
