The Humana Well-being Graphic Designer 2 is a key part of our engagement and communications team and works directly with campaign and content leads to create campaigns and initiatives. Key responsibilities include HTML coding, graphic design, image/photography design and liaising with creative vendors.

Responsibilities

The Humana Well-being Professional 2 Graphic Designer is part of our Member Engagement team, responsible for working with campaign and content leads to create data-driven, multi-channel marketing initiatives to deliver on key member engagement KPIs including member participation, utilization, NPS and engagement for Humana's Well-being products. This team member also contributes to the Well-being Organization's goals across lines of business including Medicare, Medicaid and Employer Group, keeping the user's experience at the forefront when collaborating with product leads, digital, web and IT teams on creating a consistent brand and product experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with campaign owners and marketing enablement team to ensure creative support is meeting project and campaign goals.
  • Work on day-to-day creative requests, as assigned, that can include designing and coding a wide range of digital assets including emails, landing pages, flyers, banner ads etc.
  • Implement accessibility and UX best practices in email and landing page design; consult where requested on app and web design.
  • Providing graphic design support for PowerPoint decks, catalogs, logos, redesigning layouts for translations and other marketing and communications needs as they arise.
  • Help team members attain print quotes and process print jobs.
  • Execute on previously-determined processes and leverage approved templates; innovating where possible to increase project success e.g. newsletter ongoing needs, leverage email and flyer module templates for designing and coding.
  • Leverage existing systems constructed for self-service e.g. creating brand-compliant image repositories, digital asset management, email modules, distributed marketing systems, etc. with opportunities to own and or work with owners to evolve these systems for development opportunity.
  • Image/photography design, research and placement according to brand standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Prior proven experience in HTML.
  • Manage own schedule and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to create collaborative relationships with team members that support innovation and maximize impact e.g. advising on tweaking design process for quicker campaign turn-arounds.
  • Superior organizational skills to keep track of multiple requests and projects in queue in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pursues excellence:Possesses high attention to detail with excellent verbal, written, coding and design skills.
  • 2- or 4-year degree or certification in Graphic Design and at least two years' work experience in related industry.
  • Is comfortable working with many different departments and functions across the organization.
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity.
  • Positive attitude and a member-focus; willing to help others.
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and work within short deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry.
  • Has interest in the health and wellness industry.
  • Is self-motivated and takes initiative; proactively finds ways to improve and connect.
  • Demonstrates ability to produce content that reflects the holistic understanding of Humana Wellness audience and brand.
  • Ability to understand the program design and elements, and which engagement tools/channels are leveraged for each Go365 Employer Group, Medicare or Medicaid member plan design.
  • Has agency experience and/or experience working with/advising creative work done with a creative agency/vendor partner.
  • Experience working with creative briefs.
  • Experience working in project management systems (Workfront).
