GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW:
The Division of General Internal Medicine (DGIM) is seeking a detail oriented, organized, self-directed individual to work with investigators and the DGIM grant administration team providing fiscal and administrative management to sponsored research. The DGIM includes more than 30 clinician investigators and researchers supported by a wide range of government and foundation funding. Reporting to the Research Program Manager, and working closely with the Sr. Grant Administrator, the Grant Coordinator will provide support to all levels of faculty and work with varied types and levels of research funding, including NIH, foundation, and corporate sponsors. Serving as a liaison between the investigators, MGB Research Management, affiliate and subaward sites, and sponsors, the Grant Coordinator will provide post award support in such areas as subcontract communications and monitoring, budget monitoring, project expenditures, and sponsor reporting.
This is a part time position, with some flexibility as to hours and remote work options. Experience in research and grant administration is preferred, related experience in an academic research setting and with grants management systems is helpful.
