GHD is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to work with our Engineering Design Organization to provide planning, design and construction services to Federal, State, Municipal, and private clients in California and across the Western U.S. This position will be based out of our Santa Rosa, CA office.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with fellow engineers from the Engineering Design Organization (EDO) on a wide range of assignments including water/wastewater, waterfront, architectural, industrial, and related projects
• Interacting with other members of the project engineering team, clients, and equipment suppliers to help build successful outcomes
• Performing calculations to assess system and equipment characteristics
• Preparing project plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Participating in construction support activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• 0 to 2+ years of experience
• Engineer-In-Training Certificate preferred or ability to acquire certificate within the next year
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Knowledge of power systems fundamentals
• Familiarity with using AutoCAD.
• Dedicated to managing time, organizing priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to excel in a multidisciplinary team environment as well as working independently
• Attention to detail in implementing technical design responsibilities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
