Arrow Electronics has an exciting new opportunity for a "Logistics Expert" as a Global Supply Chain Solutions Designer in our Denver, Colorado location. Involved in end to end engagement with clients on their supply chain needs including consulting, understanding clients pain points, creating statement of work, designing and implementing a solution.
What You Will Be Doing:
Supply Chain Solutions Designers support component selling groups with technical supply chain expertise and in-depth knowledge of Arrow's Global Supply Chain Services.
The SCSD works directly with internal and external customers to assess supply chain needs and objectives, design effective solutions and build the business case for implementation.
This position also provides field support to ensure that the sales and customer service teams understand Arrow's supply chain Logistics capabilities, their value to customers, and their role in providing Arrow with competitive advantage.
Actively participates in the implementation of global customer base supply chain service strategies through prioritized market needs, focusing on those with the greatest opportunity; working with Arrow Global Chain Services (AGSCS) to identify customers with the greatest opportunity and develop plans to actualize through demonstrating Arrow's value; translating customer needs through supply chain assessment and analysis.
Has ability to match Arrow's corresponding core service menu to defined needs to create a customer solution.
Models and solutions built for global proposals.
During QBR process review customer metrics for key engagements proactively vs reactively.
Make recommendations for changes to engagements or additional service opportunities.
Work with AGSCS management to ensure that Arrow receives maximum value from these services.
Monitor implementation process, stepping in to provide assistance and guidance when needed to ensure same.
Reactive to stated customer needs with relevant services and straightforward modifications, satisfying customer requirements.
May require guidance / assistance from manager and peers in accomplishing. Recommendations should enhance return on working capital and operating income for supported supply chain engagements.
Coordinate and arrange training on supply chain tools as it relates to the value of Arrow's supply chain services; Arrow's supply chain offerings; and supply chain trends to internal teams such as sales as well as external customers.
Perform analysis and complete optimization studies for complex, global Supply Chains. Collaboration with internal and external Supply Chain Leaders to architect or improve Client Supply Chains.

What We Are Looking For:
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
