The Global Director, Services Sales professional will grow, mature, and scale the Services Sales function, and provide senior leadership, strategy, and responsibility over this essential function of the Customer Success and Services Sales Organization.

You will be responsible for managing existing relationships and driving new business across Alteryx' entire Services portfolio and providing recommendations and solutions to further improve efficiency, profitability, delivery time, collaboration between departments and partners, and customer satisfaction.

Additionally, you will be accountable to motivate, inspire, and coach a high-performance global team of full-time team members and on-demand talent, ensuring a good balance between continuous improvement, collaboration, and goal achievement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, organize, direct, and manage the Global Services Sales organization with responsibility for field enablement, revenue targets, customer satisfaction, delivery quality, and profitability

• Work with cross functional teams, and engage with leadership stakeholders, and Exec Team

• Implement appropriate system of metrics, tools, and processes to drive productivity and accountability across the organization

• Owns our customers' Services journey from pre-sales to delivery

• Responsible for managing existing relationships and driving new business across Alteryx' entire Services portfolio

• Advance the business effectiveness of Services Sales through best practices, leadership and solution delivery expertise, in partnership with relevant business leaders

• Facilitate executive discussions regarding budgets, resources, schedules, and risks

• Partner regularly with field sales leadership teams to ensure service business information is received or disseminated in a timely basis

• Acts as a subject-matter expert on Alteryx products and solutions

• Mentor and develop management and team focusing on driving team to achieve their potential while actively holding a high bar on performance and accountability

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience including 5 years of specific experience in account management, professional services, or service sales for large enterprises

• Extensive working knowledge in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating services offerings

• Ability to effectively work in a highly ambiguous environment and within cross-functional teams across the organization and handle objections

• Able to work in a co-sell model with account teams

• Customer facing role with working knowledge of enterprise customers

• Proven track record of scoping and winning services in an enterprise environment

• Strong balance of collaborative and self-starter mentality; able to own your business while also working well the teams

• Proven track record of building confidence and rapport with customers and sales teams

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.

The on-target earnings for this role in Colorado, California, Washington, New York and Rhode Island is $246,000 - 338,000

In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as stock grants. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
