ECS is seeking a GIS Dashboard Developer to work in our Washington, DC office.

General Description:

• Perform technical development and maintenance to the customer's Operations Dashboard, advise on technical solutions and improvements to data standards and collection processes. Deliver recommendations on how to streamline, automate, and overall improve data management.
• Assist with maintenance of customer's data layers including data validation, conditioning, and metadata standardization. Maintain this list on the customer's SharePoint portal.
• Publish internal monthly newsletter to keep end-users and leadership apprised of all updates and system enhancements
• Maintain and recommend enhancements to data update procedures. Track recommendations and corrective actions taken, and implement changes as appropriate following training classes, conferences, executive briefings and other events.
• Communicate with software developers and program managers throughout the enterprise as needed to provide user feedback on geospatial systems
• Coordinate with appropriate data owners to ensure data maintained on customer dashboard data layers is current and concise
• Provide assistance with customer training classes that are conducted for enterprise personnel to include personnel located at off-sites and field divisions. Create and deliver program documentation, including user guides, marketing products, and training materials.
• Use ArcGIS geospatial analysis tools to provide support and assist with analytical product development
• Perform data conditioning and data analysis operations using operational data to answer taskings from customers throughout the customer enterprise

Required Skills:

• Must have an Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
• Expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint, JavaScript, Web Server (IIS), HTML, ArcGIS, Google Earth Server, programming language including but not limited to Python R and C
• Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated experience with other knowledge management and visualization and geospatial related systems and their underlying platforms
• Experience with open-source programing languages typically used for data science tasks including, but not limited to, Python R and C, and Esri ArcGIS Enterprise
• Minimum of 7 years' demonstrated experience in Computer Science or related field
