What will I be doing?

The Business A.I., Technology, & Product team is looking for an experienced product manager who specializes in the area of insight content development. Circana calls this role the Content Architect. The Content Architect will play a pivotal role in transforming the Retail industry and how retailers conduct analytics and generate insights to deliver optimized experiences & personalized value to their shoppers. Delivering simple, easy-to-use insights will be central to how Circana helps Retailers embed data into their day-to-day decision-making processes.

The Content Architect will have a successful track record of building and deploying visually impactful content through Circana's Unify visualization platform, including strong familiarity with the latest Genius-Script based reporting capabilities. This individual will have a passion for distilling complex and comprehensive information into easily digestible insights, which ultimately enable easier and faster business decisions for our clients. This role will be responsible for helping Circana develop a portfolio of insights, and the consistent set of design standards to govern those insights, for our global Gateway solutions. While activities will vary and evolve, the Content Architect can expect to spend 80% of their time designing, building, and deploying Genius Script-based content in collaboration with cross-functional resources including Commercial, Technology, Analytics, Client Service, and Client Insights. The remaining 20% will be allocated to governance of global design standards and the related communication activities to drive those standard into all of our solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the creation and ongoing enhancement and maintenance of our best-in-class visualization content library for our Retail Gateway solutions
  • Use your knowledge of color, typography, detail, and other design elements to improve, enhance, and innovate the content you manage.
  • Assist other cross-functional partners in appropriately deploying and configuring our content in their custom database environments
  • Participate in Client demonstrations using the content you've built
  • Capture client feedback directly and indirectly, and leverage this feedback to enhance and augment our content library
  • Stay abreast & rapidly adopt and leverage future enhancements to Circana's visualization capabilities
  • Staying up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and tools to continuously improve our content development & design process

Job Requirements:
  • Expert in Circana's Unify Visualization platform
  • Highly adept with Unify's Genius Script reporting template with tangible experience building & deploying GS-based content
  • Keen eye for identifying and creating visually appealing content, with a meticulous focus for consistency, staying on-brand, composition, color theory, typography, responsive design, industry best practices, and all the other special details that make your content compelling
  • Ability to synthesize and simplify complex data
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Advanced Analytics concepts and solutions (Pricing & Promotion, Assortment, Forecasting, Segmentation)
  • Preferred: 3-5+ years of experience designing user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications
  • Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
  • Preferred: Expert in design tools such as Sketch, Figma (preferred), or Adobe Creative Suite

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $110k - $165k.

This job is also eligible for [bonus/incentive/commissions/equity] pay.
