Front Desk Coordinator

The Front Desk Coordinator will support our Monroeville, PA clinic.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

Front Office

• Schedule patients and make follow-up reminder calls within established guidelines

• Answer phones knowledgeably in timely manner with professional courtesy

• Verify insurance eligibility, charge entry, rebilling, and collections

• Identify insurance companies to contract with and assist with physician and other provider credentialing with companies

• Help establish, promote, and maintain DaVita values with office teammates, vendors, physicians

• Know and understand all emergency procedures for clinic (including but not limited to evacuation, fire, natural disasters); be prepared to respond calmly and efficiently with patient safety as priority

• Obtain referrals and authorizations as needed from 3rd parties and providers

• Schedule diagnostic visits in timely manner

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• We require High School diploma or GED;

• 1 or more years of administrative/support experience.
  Insurance billing and verification experience

• Ability to travel up to 10% of time depending on business needs

• Ability to learn new software as needed

• Strong communication and attention to detail skills

• Excellent computer/phone skills including MS Office Suite
