Food Supply Specialist

If you have a passion for precision, communication prowess, and an eagle eye for detail, we want YOU to join our dynamic team as a Food Supply Specialist!

What You'll Do:
As a Food Supply Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of operations within our Food Supply Chain. Your days will be filled with a diverse range of tasks, from managing purchase orders and communicating with suppliers to coordinating sample orders and collaborating with internal teams.

You'll also be responsible for:
•Contacting suppliers to confirm purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in procurement process.
•Serving as a central point of contact between internal teams and suppliers, promptly informing stakeholders of any changes or updates to orders.
•Maintaining organized supplier files, ensuring all necessary documents are up to date and easily accessible.
•Facilitating the ordering and delivery of samples for internal teams, contributing to product innovation and selection.
•Working closely with the accounting department to address discrepancies in purchase orders, pricing, and payment terms, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

We need a motivated professional with a Collaborative mindset and able to work effectively within a team environment and across departments.
In addition, we are looking for:
•An associate degree in business or a related field
•3+ years in similar role within the food industry, demonstrating proficiency in supply chain management and procurement processes
•Solid computer skills, especially in MS Excel and Word
•Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
•Excellent organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
•We value collaboration and believe that it often happens best in person. This position is required to work onsite at our Monroe, WI
