SUMMARY
To provide clerical support to the department of Food Services.
Reports To: Clinical Nutrition Manager
STATUS: Full Time
LOCATION: United Memorial Medical Center
DEPARTMENT: UMMC Café
SCHEDULE: Days & Evenings

Responsibilities
- Professionally and effectively communicates and receives information and distributes messages.
- Implements orders received via computer for new admissions, diet or room changes.
- Daily records patient menus according to diet order with correct room number and name.
- Accurately modifies menus for allergies supplements and food dislikes/intolerances.
- Assists patients and family in selecting menu. Adapts patient's menu selection according to age, medical condition and food preferences. Accommodates patient food preferences based on religious, cultural and ethnic beliefs. Checks tray according to diet order.
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
PAY RANGE: $16.50 - $17.30
