The Fleet Technician creates value by ensuring that the company's fleet equipment meets the quality and readiness standards necessary to provide exceptional service.

Summary of Key Responsibilities: To repair and modify Pac-Van, A Division of United Rentals, units of all types as needed. It is the responsibility of the Fleet Technician to perform all cleaning and modifications in a safe manner in accordance with the Operations Manual and company standards.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY & PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Essential Duties: (80%+)

Equipment Maintenance & Repair (fleet, equipment, steps, & accessory equipment)

* Demonstrate a thorough knowledge PV quality standards
* Apply knowledge on each & every assignment
* Complete assignments within allocated time
* Complete assignments as documented on Work Order
* Complete necessary documentation (work order, etc)

Equipment Modifications

* Complete in accordance with mfg specifications and local building codes
* Complete in accordance with approved specifications
* Complete assignments within budget
* Complete in accordance with targeted deadline
* Complete necessary documentation (work order, etc)

Equipment Cleanliness

* Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of PV cleanliness standards
* Meet cleanliness standards on each & every assignment
* Complete assignments within allocated time
* Complete necessary documentation (work order, etc)

Care & Control of Tools & Supplies

* Keep clean and in good working condition
* Stored in proper and secure place
* Use tools properly
* Advise supervisor of supply needs

Safety

* Operate equipment in a safe manner
* Use all personal protective equipment properly
* Participate in Toolbox Talks
* Carefully perform all responsibilities

Secondary Duties: (up to 20%)
Yard Cleanliness & Organization

* Keep the yard free of debris

Other responsibilities, as necessary

* Complete as directed
