Description: Job Summary:
The FR&A Associate Director will be responsible to lead the financial reporting team in the preparation and review of the Consolidated financial statements, three sets of subsidiary statements, along with other external reporting requirements. On a monthly basis examples of the team's responsibilities include but are not limited to, preparing unaudited US GAAP statements for internal use, assisting in the preparation of global balance sheet packs for monthly review, and manage cross validation rules within the general ledger to ensure controls around the entering of data to facilitate proper reporting. The Associate Director will lead and develop this team, while acting as a resource to the department, demonstrating a knowledge and a willingness to ensure accurate and efficient reporting across all of Clients entities.
Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation and review of the Client Consolidated and certain subsidiaries' financial statements and related footnote disclosures on a quarterly and annual basis
• Lead a team of four accountants (2 direct reports and 2 indirect reports) in daily operations as well as professional development and career progression planning
• Presentation and communication of financial results to cross functional teams
• Assess and implement process improvement opportunities
• Supervise and maintain a rigorous control environment to mitigate risk
• Create and/or maintain policies and procedures to address identified control gaps
• Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of related experience Bachelor's degree required with Masters preferred
